Friday Afternoon Club (FAC)
Location: International House, 1400 W. Elizabeth Street
Date: Every Friday, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, year round
The Friday Afternoon Club (FAC) has been a CSU tradition for over 40 years! Join us weekly and connect with our international community, learn about special activities or volunteer opportunities, and engage in new friendships from around the world in this relaxed, social setting. All ages and backgrounds are welcome- from families, to students to faculty to retirees and more – it’s a world community that will keep you coming back!
During the Summer:
Friday Afternoon Club events continue during the summer with outdoor BBQ potlucks. We provide hamburgers & veggie burgers, and everything you need to go on it–but the other food comes from people like you! Everyone who attends is asked to bring a dish to share or make a donation. Popular dishes include fruit or vegetable sides, salads and casseroles, and of course, desserts. This is a great way to enjoy the warm summer nights in Fort Collins, and we hope to see you there!
During the School Year:
From September through May, light snacks and an interesting program are offered each week. The last Friday of each month is the popular international potluck dinner, where attendees are invited to bring a food item to share. If you have any suggestions on programs, need more information, or would like to volunteer to help with a Friday event please contact: Bronwen Watts (970-491-5919).
