On the evening of Sunday, February 25th the Confucius Institute at Colorado State University hosted its annual Spring Festival Gala at Colorado State University, University Center for the Arts’ Griffin Concert Hall.

The over 500 in attendance were first greeted with New Year’s wishes from Deputy Consul General Peng Yu, Deputy Director Jian Li, Mayor Wade Troxell, Associate Provost Wei Gao and Vice Provost James Cooney.

After the speeches concluded, the show featuring the Guangdong Performing Arts Troupe began and local Fort Collins citizens as well as many others from across northern Colorado, were treated to an outstanding cultural display.
