Spring Break Trips
Make the most of your week away from classes!
Each spring, international students at CSU decide how to spend their spring breaks, and many have come to enjoy the time off by exploring favorite Colorado locations with the trips and activities with other international students.
We thank you for your participation in our spring break trips and events this past week, we hope you’ll had as much fun as we did! If you took any pictures during the week, we’d love to see them! Email them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org or post them to our Facebook group (and if you’re not already a member, join our group!!).
This year we hosted SIX fun-filled days around northern Colorado. Starting the week with a refreshing hike to the ‘A’ along with some disc golfing near the Hughes Stadium followed by a day long Tuesday in Denver exploring the City Park, Zoo, Museum of Nature and Science, Art Museum and of course some joy-filled shopping at the 16th Street Mall. Come Wednesday the bowling alleys were rustling with fallen pins while the blue and red teams hit it out inside the Laser tag arena. City Park saw internationals get to their favorite childhood games like Frisbee, badminton, throw-ball and Marco Polo too. An indulgent lunch of a variety of pizzas, St. Patrick’s Day themed cookies, quenching beverages made the picnic at City Park even more memorable. Close to a dozen young Rams had a hilarious workout at the Trampoline Park on Thursday Evening playing dodgeball, falling right into the foam pits and also trying a few tricks at the tracks. CSU Ramily were found relishing some of the freshly brewed varieties(90+) of tea at the Celestial Seasonings headquarters at Boulder and also enjoying the famous Mint room, Tea shop and the Celestial Cafe. Pearl Street Mall was a hub for most Rams who wanted to hang out and get a sense of Boulder. We also found a couple of us strolling the Boulder Creek Path leading to the Rockies!
If you have any feedback for how we can make future trips better, or additional events/activities we should do in the future, please feel free to email me that as well!
