Colorado State University has welcomed international students for more than one hundred years. Currently, more than 2,500 international students and scholars from over 110 countries study and work here in Fort Collins. Preparing for CSU

Before you even set foot on CSU’s campus, you can begin to orient yourself to life here. The Pre-Arrival Guide provides information to help you to prepare for your first few weeks in Colorado. By reading this guide thoroughly, you will understand the services we provide to assist you in your transition to CSU and be prepared for the tasks ahead. Over the course of your stay at Colorado State University, the Office of International Programs will assist you with your cultural adjustment, academic integration, professional growth, and personal support. You will find that our staff are sincerely interested in your success. International Orientation

All incoming international students are required to attend International Student Orientation the week before classes begin. Orientation has been designed as an exciting next step to your CSU experience. At orientation, you will learn about all of the information to help you adjust to the CSU campus and community. Make sure to register for International Student Orientation so we can have your personalized information ready when you arrive!

We hope you’ll always feel comfortable coming to us with questions. We offer many programs and activities after International Orientation to help you with cultural adjustment, academic success, and community-building. Online Communities

We invite you to join our Facebook group, CSU International Rams. This forum is for the International Ram Community at CSU. Ask questions of current international students at CSU, the Cultural Mentors, and members of the Fort Collins International Center to help you get acquainted!

Many international student organizations and on-campus housing communities also communicate through Facebook groups. Make sure to join any groups to learn about the events they are hosting.
