Immigration Document Review Sessions

All new international students must complete a mandatory Immigration Document Review during Orientation. If unable to attend, please sign up for Make Up Orientation (link will be available soon) where you will also be able to complete an Immigration Document Review. Failure to complete this requirement will result in serious immigration consequences.

What: The International Student & Scholar Services office will scan your immigration documents for tracking in the SEVIS system, run by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Where: Lory Student Center Grand Ballroom

When: Tuesday, August 15, 2017–during the second day of Orientation

Bring: Make sure to bring these documents for yourself and any dependents:

  • CSU Student ID number
  • Passport with visa
  • Immigration document: I-20 or DS2019
  • Name and address of an emergency contact in the U.S.
  • Name and address of an emergency contact in your home country
  • Your local U.S. address & phone number (your permanent address, not a temporary one).

You will complete your Immigration Document Review with the others in your small group on Tuesday, August 15. Just stay with your group, and follow your leaders to the correct location at your group’s assigned time. You will be asked to fill out a form (with emergency contact information and your CSU ID number), then to scan that form, your passport, and your immigration document.
