The FCIC offers three free English classes–two conversation English classes and one English language lesson course–to the CSU and Fort Collins communities. Weekly classes throughout the entire year offer help with language skills, insight into American customs, and a place to share cultural experiences. Classes are free and open for students, scholars, family and community members. Monday and Thursday classes are open to men and women. Wednesday classes are open to women only.
Every Wednesday, 10 – 11:30am
In July 2018, the Fort Collins International Center and Islamic Center of Fort Collins began providing free English lessons Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Mosque. Enjoy learning in the pleasant surroundings while you improve your English. Classes are open to women from the Mosque and the community.
You may register online using this link. You may also register prior to any Wednesday morning class.
The flexible learning schedule allows for new participants to join at any time. Instructors are TEFL-certified, with years of experience teaching internationally and domestically.
Classes are not religious based.

Prior registration for Conversation English classes is not necessary. We ask that you do not bring your children. If you cannot find childcare, please bring quiet toys they can play with while classes are in session. The key to the success and longevity of these classes is lots of laughter, fun singing American songs, and lively discussions about grammar, idioms, and comparative cultures.
