“My career goals are to become a Spanish professor and to do research about different cultures and how those cultures have influence in literature.”

Why did you decide to study at CSU?

I decided to come to CSU because it has a good program in languages and offers the possibility to teach while studying.

What was your biggest surprise about the U.S?

My biggest surprise when I arrived to Fort Collins was the great diversity of international students. About the US, I can say that as I lived here before I didn’t have a big clash. But I am surprised how kind the people are.

What are your favorite activities/clubs in Fort Collins?

My favorite activities in Fort Collins are hanging out with my friends, meeting new people and visiting new places.

What are your career goals?

My career goals are to become a Spanish professor and to do research about different cultures and how those cultures have influence in literature.

What do you want people to know about your home country?

Spain is a great country with cultural diversity. In Spain, people can see several architecture styles, from Gothic to Romanesque. Also, people can enjoy awesome food, such as paella or tapas.

What advice would you give to other students who are considering CSU?

Enjoy their time here, meet new people and get involved in activities at the university, not only with American people but with other international students as well. CSU offers a great environment to learn and enjoy different cultures.
