Job Responsibilities

Advises international students on immigration matters, including maintaining legal status, maximizing their university experience, document processing and cross-cultural adjustment. Serves as a Designated School Official for the F-1 student program of the Department of Homeland Security, and as a liaison between Colorado State University, government agencies, students and the local community.

International Experience

Spent much of her childhood in Germany with subsequent study abroad experiences in high school and undergrad in Germany and Austria. Volunteered with the Peace Corps in Russia. Taught English to English Language Learners in New York City public high schools for 9 years. Traveled and/or volunteered in India, Nicaragua, Mexico, Canada and most of Europe including walking the Camino de Santiago and biking the western coast of Estonia.

Its buzz and bustle and many bike paths!
